Fundamental to the standards of Debt Rescue Center is the privacy of clients and patrons of our website, debtrescuecenter.org The following Privacy Policy includes the types of information collected and recorded by debtrescuecenter.org and the ways in which it is used. This Privacy Policy is applicable only to Debt Rescue Center’s online activities and is valid for information entered and/or collected by website patrons and potential clients. Information obtained offline or via channels other than the debtrescuecenter.org website is not incumbent to this policy.

This Privacy Policy covers how we use and secure all personal information you submit or authorize us to obtain including, but not limited to, any other information gathered during the course of business and/or when you access our website. This Privacy Policy also covers all personal information that any of our business partners shares with us including what we may share with third parties. We may, from time to time, develop additional websites and/or domains added to our portfolio. Whether or not any particular site is specifically identified in this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy applies to all Sites owned and/or operated by Debt Rescue Center. Information We Collect
Personal information requested by the Site and which you voluntarily provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will always be made clear and transparent to you at the point the request for information is made. If you contact us directly, we may request and receive additional information about you including, but not limited to, your name, address, email address, state of residence, phone number, amount of unsecured debt, current IP address being used, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide. When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including, but not limited to, items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number. We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked (directly or indirectly) with a particular consumer or device (“personal information”). In particular, we have collected the following categories of personal information relating to consumers within the last twelve (12) months:
- Identifiers – A real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, Social Security number, driver’s license number, passport number, or other similar identifiers.
- Personal information categories listed in the California Customer Records statute (Cal.Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)) – A name, signature, Social Security number, physical characteristics or description, address, telephone number, passport number, driver’s license or state identification card number, insurance policy number, education, employment, employment history, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information, medical information, or health insurance information. Some personal information included in this category may overlap with other categories.
- Protected classification characteristics under California or federal law – Age (40 years or older), race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, religion or creed, marital status, medical condition, physical or mental disability, sex (including gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy or childbirth and related medical conditions), sexual orientation, veteran or military status, genetic information (including familial genetic information).
- Commercial Information – Records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
- Biometric information – Genetic, physiological, behavioral, and biological characteristics, or activity patterns used to extract a template or other identifier or identifying information, such as, fingerprints, faceprints, and voiceprints, iris or retina scans, keystroke, gait, or other physical patterns, and sleep, health, or exercise data. Not collected for customers. Only collected for select employees.
- Internet or other similar network activity – Browsing history, search history, information on a consumer’s interaction with a website, application, or advertisement.
- Geolocation data – Physical location or movements.
- Sensory data – Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information.
- Professional or employment-related information – Current or past job history or performance evaluations.
- Non-public education information (per the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (20 U.S.C. Section 1232g, 34 C.F.R. Part 99)) – Education records directly related to a student maintained by an educational institution or party acting on its behalf, such as grades, transcripts, class lists, student schedules, student identification codes, student financial information, or student disciplinary records. Information not collected.
- Inferences drawn from other personal information – Profile reflecting a person’s preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.
- Publicly available information from government records
- De-identified or aggregated consumer information
- Information excluded from the CCPA’s scope, including but not limited to:
- health or medical information covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA) or clinical trial data;
- personal information covered by certain sector-specific privacy laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) or California Financial Information Privacy Act (FIPA), and the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act of 1994.
- Directly from our clients or their agents. For example, from documents that our clients provide to us related to the services for which they engage us.
- Indirectly from our clients or their agents. For example, through information we collect from our clients in the course of providing services to them.

Log Files
Our site, debtrescuecenter.org, follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitor activity when they visit websites. Most hosting companies do this as a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), date and time stamps, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any personally identifiable information. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the site, and gathering demographic information.

Like any other website, debtrescuecenter.org uses ‘cookies’. Will You Use My Information To Contact Me?
This Privacy Policy constitutes the Debt Rescue Center Do Not Call Policy under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act for all consumers and is pursuant to state law. When you talk with us by telephone your conversation may be monitored or recorded by us. We maintain an internal Do Not Call preference list. Do Not Call requests will be honored within 30 days and will be effective for at least five years from the date of the request. No telemarketing calls will be made to residential or cellular phone numbers that appear on the Do Not Call list. Debt Rescue Center has a strict “anti-spam” policy which extends to its business partners and vendors. You will not receive Debt Rescue Center emails unless you submit your email address to us or register on one of our Sites to receive communications, such as our newsletter. You may tell us not to solicit you at your postal mailing address, telephone number or e-mail address. If you elect not to receive marketing offers by postal mail, telephone and/or e-mail, please note that we may continue to contact you as necessary to service your account and for other non-marketing purposes. We may also continue to provide marketing information in your regular account mailings and statements, including online and electronic communications. To receive our newsletter via e-mail you must sign up on one of our Sites. If you decide at a later time that you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you may unsubscribe using the “unsubscribe” link on each newsletter that you receive. your behalf. The agent would also need to be able to have sufficient data to verify the
identity of the consumer in question.
The above rights are subject to our being able to
reasonably verify your identity and authority to make these requests. These rights are also
subject to various exclusions and exceptions under applicable laws. In order to verify your
identity for prospective consumers, you must provide first and last name, state of
residence, phone, physical address and email. If you are a current customer, you must also
provide the social security number or other identifying account number in addition to the
items required for prospective consumers.

CCPA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)
Under the CCPA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to:
Request
that a business that collects a consumer’s personal data disclose the categories and
specific pieces of personal data that a business has collected about consumers.

that a business delete any personal data about the consumer that a business has collected.
Request that a business that sells a consumer’s personal data, not sell the consumer’s
personal data.

Notice To California Residents
In response to a California law, we will automatically treat individuals with California addresses or telephone numbers (when disclosed to us) as if you requested us to not share your information with nonaffiliated third parties except as permitted by the applicable California law. We will also limit the sharing of information about you with our affiliates to comply with California privacy laws that apply to us.
Notice To Vermont Residents
In response to Vermont regulations, we automatically treat accounts with Vermont billing addresses as if you requested that we not share your information with nonaffiliated third parties, and that we limit the information we share with our affiliates. If we disclose information about you to nonaffiliated third parties with whom we have joint marketing agreements, we will only disclose your name, address, other contact information, and information about our transaction and experiences with you.
